The New Updated Houston Local Biz Website August 27, 2010

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up and say that the site redesign for Houston Local Biz is almost done, I have been working very hard for the last couple of weeks building the new updated site. After having a little technical difficulty with the site last month, I decided to go ahead and create a “real” online directory for the business listing for Houston local businesses and migrate from a WordPress site that I had originally started back in late May.
I must say I am VERY impressed with this new directory software. The people on the php my directory forum have been very helpful in helping me get the site setup. And I certainly can’t forget my new friend Freddie from CityPD who corrected some of the bugs in the latest version of the software and who has been instrumental in helping me get the site up and running. And I also cant forget my buddy Matt with Hurst Design Studios who has also been doing some custom coding on the site for me.
The new “improved” site should be up within the next week, if everything stays on schedule…

I’ve just been helping others with getting there local businesses up on the front pages of Google. I also got my first Offiline X Factor client today, “Stewarts Appraisal Group” a real estate appraisal company here in Houston.

Posted by admin in : General , add a commentThere was a really good seminar this weekend called “The Blueprint To Financial Freedom” with Terry Wygal and a bunch of other internet marketers such as Kieth Baxter, Vic Johnson, David Frey, Andrew Lock, Jimmy Vee & Travis Miller. Wow what a great time, we learned all about driving traffc and other methods for creating products to sell. I got a bunch of great ideas from everyone there…

Helping internet newbie’s create an online presence. October 23, 2009

Hi Everyone,
Today is a new day in my life, you see last Fiday I was laid off from a company that I had been employed at for 4+ years as an IT administrator. But that’s OK! The very next day I showed up at this internet marketing class that I had signed up for a couple of weeks earlier with a good friend of mine. We spent the entire weekend at the class and while I was there I met a bunch of people who needed help with the “technical aspects” of creating and setting up thier squeeze pages & websites and getting blogs, etc. setup.
Well before I was laid off, for the last year I had been fooling around with the idea of internet marketing and trying to see if it really was possible to make REAL money on the internet, marketing different products & services. So I then started learning about all of the technical requirements of getting a domain name and setting up a website, etc.
Well that got me to thinking about how I could offer my “technical skills” to any of you that might be interested in doing internet marketing. So i am now “officially offering my “technical services” to any 7 all of you that may require assistance with getting a domain name and website setup, and providing technical assistance with any other of internet marketing.
